TRUSSVILLE — The city of Trussville’s Freedom Celebration will be July 4 on the mall in downtown Trussville.
Along with live entertainment and local eats, there will be plenty of activities for the whole family, topped off with a fireworks show.
The celebration starts at 5:30 p.m. Deputy 5 and Act of Congress will be performing throughout the evening. There will be inflatables and free rides for the kids. Attractions will close at 8:30 p.m. to give kids time to reunite with their families before the fireworks show at approximately 9 p.m.
Food will be available for purchase from Wasabai Juans, Wheelin’ & Grillin’, Southland BBQ, Papa John’s Pizza, Swamp Monster BBQ, Eugene’s Hot Chicken, Cheezin – Grilled Cheeses, Chick-fil-A, Chronic Tacos and Broad Street Peaux Boys. Sweets available for purchase will be provided by Naughty But Nice Kettle Corn, Heavenly Donuts, Bendy’s Cookies and Cream, Frio’s Gourmet Pops, Kona Ice, Doodles Sorbet, The Baker’s Rack, Edible Arrangements and City Bowls. For drinks, head over to Rita’s Lemonade, The Coconut Hut or Yellowhammer Roasters.
Alcohol is not allowed at the event.
