ARGO – The Argo City Council will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, July 8.

One of the main issues the council will discuss is the council seat left vacant by the resignation of Ronnie Bowman. Bowman sold his house in Argo and tendered his resignation to the mayor and council on June 24.
The council will also discuss the progress on the storm shelter, as well as receive updates and reports from the police department, fire department, food bank and Argo Teen Council.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
