SMITH LAKE — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a two-boat collision on Smith Lake. The crash happened in Rock Creek.
ALEA Marine Patrol Troopers said the crash happened at about 10 p.m. on July 4, 2019.
There were five people with injuries and four of them were transported for medical attention. The severity of their injuries was not known. At least one person is believed to be missing.
At 1 a.m., the search for the missing person was suspended, authorities said. The search resumed Friday morning.
