TRUSSVILLE — Sheepdog Firearms Training Center in Trussville is participating in National Train a Teacher Day 2019.
The center is offering free classes to educators, scout leaders, religious leaders and anyone interested in learning how to handle a firearm and how to protect children in the case of an active shooter situation.
National Train a Teacher Day is Saturday, July 20. Sign up by July 7 to receive a free student kit.
The Basic Handgun Class is full, but you can get on the waitlist by emailing your name, address and email to defensivewt@gmail.com.
Online registration must be completed no later than Sunday, July 7.

Sabre Red Personal Safety Academy Pepper Spray Class (14 open Seats Remaining)
8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

US Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) Basic Handgun Class (FULL but there is a waitlist)
12 p.m. until 3 p.m.
**Bring your own handgun and 100 rounds. Handgun rentals are free for those who do not have their own handgun, but ammunition for the free rental handguns must be purchased at Sheepdog.**
