TRUSSVILLE — Pizza and pasta lovers in Trussville were in for an unpleasant surprise as the Gadsden Highway location of Salvatore’s Pizza and Pasta closed down recently.
Visitors to the Trussville location were greeted by a sign explaining the recent decision to shut the store down.
The sign read:
Dear Patrons of Salvatore’s Trussville,
I am very sorry to say this location is closed. Memorial Day weekend we had 1 out of 12 employees walk out of our Hoover store. So, since then we has (sic) had a day. And we all worked both stores. Last weekend we ran out of prepared food in both locations. No shredded cheese, dough or sauce. So we knew it was time to close and focus on one store.
It is hard to say goodbye I have become friends with many of you. It has been wonderful serving you!
Please visit the Hoover store.
Yours,
Bo Bambinelli
The Tribune reached out to the Hoover location and was promised a comment soon.
