Ernesteen Reed Green passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2019.
Born in Fayette County, Alabama, in 1924, she would have turned 95 on Christmas Day. She spent her adult life in Birmingham and was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Hasten Green.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally Green Adams (David); her son, James Michael Green; grandson, John David Green; great-granddaughter, Marleigh Elizabeth Green, and nieces and
nephews whom she held dear. She loved reading, travel, playing Bridge and the United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be at 1:30 pm on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens in Trussville, followed by a 2 p.m. memorial service in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice. May she rest in eternal peace.
