BIRMINGHAM — The Hewitt-Trussville Middle School cheer team added a first place trophy to its collection on Saturday after taking the crown at the 2019 UCA Southern Cheerleading Championship in Birmingham.
With the win, the team earns a bid into the national tournament.
This follows the squad winning the title at the North Super Regional earlier in November.
