TAMPA, Fla. — A military wife in Florida got creative when creating a photo for her family’s Christmas card this year.
Danielle Cobo’s husband is deployed overseas. She edited the photo to include the whole family. Cobo said since her husband joined the military and became a helicopter pilot, they have moved several times and have spent months at a time apart.
“This year’s deployment has been the toughest,” said Cobo. “By the time he returns, my husband will have missed 1/2 of our twins’ lives.”
“Just wanted to share our picture and offer encouragement to all the other strong military families out there. Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” she said on Facebook.
Cobo said her family is asking Santa to bring her husband and the father of their children home safe. She left the post with scripture from the Bible.
“Ruth 1:16-17 “Don’t urge me to leave you or turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people are will be my people and your God my God. Where you die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely if even death separates you and me.”
