From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Public Library is offering a festive way for people to give back this Christmas.
Two community Christmas trees have been decorated for people to bring donations to two causes.
The Mitten Tree is where people can bring items for T.E.A.M., Trussville Ecumenical Assistive Ministry, a food bank and clothing closet.
Books about kindness, animal adoption and other similar topics are displayed near each tree. There are a variety of books, available for all ages.
Each tree has a wish list. Library organizers said they have already had a good number of donations but they would like to fulfill the wish lists. Those lists can be read below.
The last day donations will be accepted will be Dec. 19.
