TRUSSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville boys’ bowling team extending its winning streak to seven games on Monday after the Huskies defeated Center Point, 1468-920.
The victory propelled the boys’ team to 10-1 on the season. The Huskies remain perfect in Area 12 play at 6-0.
The boys were led by Joseph Taylor’s game-high 258 points and Cole McCarty’s 200 points. The Huskies’ current winning streak spans nearly a month as the boys last fell to Thompson in The Warrior Classic on Nov. 20. During that time, the Huskies have defeated six straight Area 12 opponents.
The girls’ bowling team recorded a victory on Monday, as well. They defeated Center Point, 1022-596, behind Allison Kerins’ 164 points.
Hewitt-Trussville now moves to 6-2 on the season, and they too remain undefeated in Area 12 play at 4-0.
The Huskies’ last loss came against Southside-Gadsden on Nov. 21.
