TRUSSVILLE — Icing on elevated surfaces, especially Interstate bridges, are causing traffic problems during the morning rush hour.
A jack-knifed 18-wheeler on Interstate 59 northbound at Deerfoot Parkway in Trussville is causing traffic delays Wednesday morning, according to multiple reports.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue is also reporting icy conditions on the Interstate 459 bridge coming into Trussville.
Additionally, a minor crash has been reported on Interstate 20 west bound at mile post 142.1 and Exit 144, US 411/Moody Parkway in Leeds. Expect minor delays there.
