TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department posted its weekly shoplifting review featuring six arrests from Dec. 16 – Dec. 23, 2019.
Those six people accused of traveling to Trussville to shoplift are: Joseph Johnson, Toleia Harris, Dionne Fenderson, London Calloway, of Birmingham; Stanley Bearden, of Leeds; Jarod Moon, of Trafford.
The Trussville Police Department warns anyone coming into Trussville to steal could end up on social media.
“All arrest and arrest photos posted on (our Facebook page) are public information. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty,” the department posted on its Facebook page.
The severity of a shoplifting charge depends on the value of the property involved. Alabama has four statutes governing theft of property offenses, and only one of the four is treated as a misdemeanor.
