BIRMINGHAM — For those people interested in welcoming a new adult furry friend into their family this holiday season, the cost for adoption at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society remains free of charge until Wednesday.
Hendrick Subaru of Hoover’s Holiday Adoption Spectacular is footing the bill for all adoptions of adult dogs from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, which is located at 300 Snow Drive, in Birmingham.
The highly-successful event runs until Dec. 31, 2019.

The GBHS has given thousands of lost, stranded and abused pets a new home. The agency sees over 400-plus adoptions per month. Its mission is “to promote respect for life through education and prevention of cruelty to animals and people.”
