VINEMONT — An airplane crash at the Cullman Regional Airport on Sunday took the lives of two people, according to media reports.
Cullman Regional Airport General Manager Ben Harrison confirmed the two deaths to The Cullman Tribune.
According to officials and media reports, the crash occurred between noon and 1 p.m.
Multiple agencies are on the scene. As of now, there is no information regarding the model of plane, how the plane crashed and where it originated from.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have been alerted to the crash.
A press conference is scheduled for 5 p.m. today.
