BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a Wendy’s on Monday morning.
According to the BPD, a man entered a Wendy’s located at 345 Valley Avenue near the Crestview Apartments on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at 10:06 a.m. The man allegedly placed an order, and instead of presenting a wallet, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register.
The suspect did manage to take some money before fleeing on foot. He was wearing a red and gray Alabama toboggan and a red Alabama jacket, which was discarded and located behind a neighboring business.
There were no injuries.
