The updated Alabama Sports Writers Association high school boys’ basketball polls were released late Wednesday night with Pinson Valley making a sizable jump from No. 7 in Class 6A to No. 2.
The Indians, which have won seven consecutive games, sit at 16-3 on the season and reside just behind Class 6A foe, Huffman (18-2). The two teams have faced twice this season with Huffman winning both.
Pinson Valley is led by the nation’s top 5 scorer, Kam Woods, who sits at No. 4 in the country with 36.2 points scored per game.
