Trinity Contractors has been servicing central Alabama with heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and general construction since 1981. Located on Simmons Drive in the heart of Trussville, Trinity has a customer base ranging up to about 60 miles from central Birmingham, covering areas such as Jefferson County, Cullman, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, Gadsden and Anniston. They have over 35 service trucks on the road every day and roughly 111 employees, with over half of those in the service department, who are licensed and certified in their specific trades.
“We can do anything inside the home and outside as far as a repair, remodel or an addition,” Administration and Contacts Manager Aimee Jones said. “We also have technicians who are licensed and certified in heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical repairs and installations, many of whom run the roads all day everyday just catching service calls.”
Jones, who will have been with the company 20 years this June, said that Trinity Contractors is one of very few companies that provide all these services in-house.
“Our slogan is ‘Your single source for total service,’” she said. That pretty much sums it up. “You simply make one phone call for anything you might need around your home or business. We’re available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Not all companies provide the variety of services that we offer in-house. The ability to make one phone call to take care of home or business needs is a perk for our customers and most importantly, they know that they are going to get someone that’s licensed, bonded, and insured to stand behind their work 110%.”
Working with a company that is licensed, bonded and insured is extremely important when it comes to properly caring for your home or business, Jones said.
“If a company is licensed, bonded and insured, they are licensed in their specific trade, they have insurance for the work they are performing and there’s a bonding company that’s standing behind them as well,” she said. “People, unfortunately, trying to save money will often go with somebody that’s not, and that’s fine at the time, but if you have a problem and you can’t get that person to stand behind their work, that can become a huge issue. I’ve seen homes that have been damaged and there’s no recourse for somebody that’s not licensed, bonded and insured. Think about it like driving a car without liability insurance. That isn’t a risk I am willing to take, yet so many individuals can often overlook that important detail. We may not always be the cheapest, but our work speaks for itself.
“Plus, all of our employees are background investigated and routinely drug tested. You have the comfort of knowing we have done our homework on each and every employee before sending that individual into your home or business. For us, that is just as important as being licensed, bonded and insured these days.”
According to Jones, being involved in and caring for their local community is of utmost importance to the employees at Trinity Contractors.
“We’re huge supporters in the community,” she said. “In Trussville alone, we are the main sponsor for City Fest, we are heavily involved in the schools in the area, and different events that they have throughout the year. We also excitedly sponsor and participate in the Christmas parade year after year. As your neighborhood service provider, giving back to those around us is of the upmost importance and we certainly enjoy being involved the community as often as possible.”
