From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — Trussville To Go, a local food delivery service, is offering a $2,500 scholarship to an area senior.
The recurring scholarship will be the company’s way to give back to the community, according to the owners, Amanda and Ben Short.
“We are truly grateful to our customers and the Trussville restaurants for choosing us as your restaurant delivery service and giving us the opportunity to grow,” said Ben Short. “None of our achievements would have been possible without you and your unwavering support.”
Applicants for the scholarship must compose an essay with no more than 2,500 words. The essay must identify a local community issue and recommend a solution to the issue. The deadline to submit an application is Sunday, April 5, 2020, at 5 p.m.
To apply, you must be a high school senior within the T2GO delivery area. You can check your address online at www.TrussvilleToGo.com.
