If you’ve got more stuff than space, need some room to grow, a place to play, a home for your favorite fur baby, or just a beautiful spot to relax, a portable building might be the solution. Serving the central Alabama area, Grove Portable Buildings offers high quality wood and metal storage buildings in a variety of sizes, colors, and options. These include sheds, storage buildings playhouses, greenhouses, dog houses, and gazebos. Their structures are the best in the industry. Grove partners with both Lark Buildings and Woodland Buildings to provide a premier product for you.
I spoke with Candice McKenzie, the company’s general manager and asked her what makes Grove the best choice for a portable building. Her answer was, “Product, customer service, and easy terms”. The easy terms also include a huge plus for the customer. Not only do they sell buildings, but they offer a rent to own program, making it affordable for most any buyer.
The business originally opened two years ago as Pinson Valley Portables. McKenzie met with Brock Tompkins of Grove Properties. They made the decision to open a portable building lot in Birmingham. When they agreed on a second location in Calera in July (run by Candice’s sister), they changed the name to Grove Portable Buildings.
Their inventory includes many building styles. Customers may choose from the Lofted Building, the Lumberjack, the Boxed Eave, the End Gable, the Side Gable, and the Porch Building. If you visit their website at groveportables.com, you can see the structures in 3D configuration, and customize them to suit your needs.
Candice attributes the venture’s growing success to a simple philosophy, “We do our very best to meet our customer’s needs”. One customer review states, “Service and sales at its best. I cannot say enough about the quality of the building I rented and the attention to detail upon delivery was perfect”.
Typically delivering two buildings a day, GPB doesn’t intend to slow down. They are excited about the opportunity to grow and meet the needs of new customers. They plan on opening two additional lots soon, providing full service throughout the Birmingham area-north, south, east and west.
