GARDENDALE — A third-grader at Mountain View Baptist School was awarded for academic excellence during awards day at the Tabernacle Christian School, in Gardendale.
Ella White made all A’s and was recognized for her exemplary behavior. White placed first in the state in the Language Competition by the American Association of Christian Schools.
“This high honor was achieved by her consistent hard work and by her striving to give her very best in every aspect of her work,” said Joanne Holt, White’s grandmother.
“Ella is an incredibly hard-working student, who is such an encouragement to me,” said teacher Bethany Klaus. “She loves Language and at one point even corrected a mistake in the curriculum. Teaching Ella this year has been such a joy and I am so proud of her accomplishments.”
Ella said she works hard in school and wants to one day open up her own animal rescue clinic.
