UPDATE: The Birmingham Police Department reports that a reported missing person has been located.
Annie Brooks Peake, 75, of Birmingham was located and has been reunited with her family. She is reported to be fine.

BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in locating a woman who was last seen on Thursday afternoon.
A missing person investigation was initiated on Friday in the disappearance of Peake.
According to authorities, Peake was last seen at around 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Shell gas station at 1901 33rd Ave. N. Peake was standing in the rain and staring up at the sky, per a neighbor who was at the store and had planned on taking her home. Yet, after the neighbor had finished shopping, she was unable to locate Peake.
Peake is reportedly diagnosed with dementia and schizophrenia. It is unknown if she has been taking her medications.
She was last seen wearing a burnt orange dress, black jacket and black shoes.
