LEEDS — The Leeds Police Department is investigating after a trailer was stolen from Mosaic Chapel Church on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The trailer was full of church equipment including iPads, LED lights, children’s ministry items, cables, microphones and more. Another church recently donated the trailer to Mosaic Chapel, so the church had not yet secured insurance on it.
The trailer was parked at Royal Standard when it was taken. No suspects have been identified.
William Weller has set up a GoFundMe account on behalf of Southern District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Inc. to raise money to replace the trailer and the stolen items. Southern District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Inc. is Mosaic Chapel’s legal name.
“These items were used in the children’s church and to help outreach ministries,” Weller said. “Let’s come together as a community and help this church and their outreach program.”
All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
A reward is being offered for the return of the trailer. If you have any information, call Leeds Police.
