TRUSSVILLE — The 4-K Clearly Kids class at Clearbranch United Methodist is celebrating Dr. Suess’ birthday one week early.
Dana Reynolds, who teaches 4-K, said it’s important for her to promote literacy in a fun, exciting way.
“We just like to celebrate literacy and we read to our kids every day,” said Reynolds.
The students have been dressing up as Dr. Suess characters, eating special snacks and reading books all week. Each day had a different theme, such as Silly Sock Day for “Fox in Socks” and Hat Day for “Cat in the Hat”.
