WALKER COUNTY — A 24-year-old woman was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle collision, according to the Alabama State Troopers Office.
“A two vehicle crash at 10 p.m., March 7, 2020, has claimed the life of a Carbon Hill woman,” Sgt. Chriss Barnes said.
According to Barnes, Breanna Lashay Brown, 24, was killed when the 2016 Kia Forte she was riding in, was struck by a 2008 Ford Taurus driven by James Long of Columbia, Tennessee.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, while Long was injured and taken for medical treatment.
The crash occurred on AL 69 North, approximately 12 miles North of Jasper.
No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
