PINSON — LaGrange College will soon be the new home of Pinson Valley defensive back DeMarques Densmore as the senior announced his decision on Wednesday to attend the western Georgia college.
Densmore, a 5-foot-10, 166-pound former Indians defensive back and wide receiver, signed his letter of intent to further his athletic and academic career at LaGrange before friends and family at Pinson Valley.
LaGrange, a four-year liberal arts college, is home to a Panthers team that concluded this past season 3-7. LaGrange is a member of the NCAA Division III and the USA South Conference.
The senior is most recently coming off a 2019-20 basketball season that witness Pinson Valley go 28-4 with a berth into the regional championship game. Densmore played in 27 games where he averaged four points per game.
Densmore was also part of a Pinson Valley defense in 2019 that pitched three shutouts, limited four opponents to seven points or less and held 10 opponents to less than 14 points per game.
