MONTGOMERY — After telling child care facilities that they must close down, the Alabama Department of Public Health said they could remain open under certain conditions.
They must limit the number of children to less than 12 in reach room. ADPH also recommends that the facilities implement enhanced sanitizing and practice social distancing.
The agency made the announcement via social media on Sunday.
All facilities providing day-care services may remain open so long as they do not allow 12 or more children in a room or other enclosed or separated space at the same time. ADPH further recommends these facilities to implement enhanced sanitizing & social distance measures. pic.twitter.com/uJgj7Kpw5p
