BIRMINGHAM — The National Weather Service in Birmingham is monitoring possible severe storms projected to impact northern/central Alabama on Tuesday, March 24.
The risk ranges from marginal to slight in Jefferson and St. Clair Counties.
The further north, the more the risk increases from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday. Areas in the slight risk could see tornadoes, damaging winds and quarter-size hail. The same possibilities cannot be ruled out for the areas in the marginal risk, according to the National Weather Service.
All of northern and central Alabama is encouraged to stay up-to-date with any changes in the forecast.
