NASHVILLE — Country music singer Joe Diffie died two days after testing positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The 61-year-old was known for hits like, “Pickup Man” and “Honky Tonk Attitude.”
When Diffie announced he was receiving treatment for COVID-19, he asked for privacy and reminded his fans “to be vigilant, cautious and careful during this pandemic.”
The Oklahoma native was a member of the Grand Ole Opry for 25 years.
