ASHVILLE — The St. Clair County Child Nutrition Program will be offering a free meal pickup on Monday, March 30.
The school system is attempting to assist children in recieving nutritional needs during the extended, statewide school closure.
Monday, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., will be the only time pickup will be available. There will be enough meals to last the full week.
Meals are free to all children 18 years and younger and children must be present to receive meals.
Meals will be offered in a drive-thru format in the designated or car rider area at each approved school. Serving sites are listed below.
The school system asks parents to notify someone at the site during pickup if a child has a food allergy. It also asks parents to practice social distancing during pickup.

Steele Jr. High 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Ashville Elementary 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. (car rider drop off site for AMS)
Odenville Elementary 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Ragland High School 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Moody Elementary School 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Springville Elementary/Middle School 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. (car rider drop off site behind lunchroom)
