BIRMINGHAM — The pastor of Faith Community Fellowship announced a call to prayer, for support of patients and staff at St. Vincent’s East.
Pastor Mike Ennis said prayer will begin at 7:14 p.m., on Thursday, April 2. Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles.
“The doctors, nurses, and all support staff are on the front lines fighting for the lives of those in our community,” said Ennis.
The time of 7:14 p.m. was picked in honor of 2 Chronicles 7:14:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Partners in prayer are asked to park in Lot F, outside of Building 52. The parking lot is the second parking lot to the left, from the hospital’s first entrance. Participants are asked to avoid parking outside of the ER.
“Leave your hazards on to show your support,” Ennis added. “Please maintain a 6-foot distance at all times. We want to minister safely.”
