TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department received several messages concerning a young man who allegedly sent harassing and vulgar messages to women. In response, the following public notice was issued on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
PUBLIC NOTICE: We have received a large number of Facebook messages regarding a young man sending harassing and vulgar messages to women. We have been made aware of the situation and will look into it. With that being said, our Facebook page is not monitored 24/7 and is not the way to report crimes/issues. If you have a crime to report or need to speak with an officer contact the non-emergency line at 205-655-2101. If you have an emergency call 911.
If you are a citizen of Trussville and a victim of harassing text from the individual we are referencing above your encouraged to file a report with us by calling the non-emergency line and speaking with an officer. If you reside outside of Trussville and wish to file a report, please do so with whatever agency services the area you live in. Once those reports are made our investigators will work together with any other agency that receives a report to build a case.
