TRUSSVILLE — It seems the use of masks and gloves to stop the spread of coronavirus is not always as responsible as it may seem on the surface. In fact, the surface of the parking lot at Walmart in Trussville is proof of that.
On Friday, April 3, the CDC officially recommended people wear PPE (personal protective equipment) while in public.
With an increased number of people using PPE, comes an increased amount of litter. Gloves and masks are being left behind in local parking lots.
The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recommends another way to dispose of your potentially-contaminated PPE: Dispose of it in a waste container.
