BIRMINGHAM — The family of a man who was found unresponsive in the backyard of a Birmingham residence and was later pronounced dead is being sought, authorities said on Monday, April 6.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said on Monday morning that authorities are looking for the family of Adrian K. Anders, 48. Anders was found unresponsive by the Birmingham Police Department and Birmingham Fire and Rescue in the backyard of a house in the 4300 block of 74th Place North on March 26, 2020, at around 11 p.m. He was transported to St. Vincent’s East Hospital where he was pronounced dead 30 minutes later.
Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said that an autopsy was conducted and a cause of death has not yet been determined; however, there have been no signs of foul play or trauma.
Yates added that all efforts to locate Anders’ family have failed. As a result, the coroner’s office seeks the public’s assistance in locating Anders’ family or anyone with knowledge of the family.
