TRUSSVILLE — Amari & Gray Legal Advocacy and Consulting is offering free wills to all local healthcare workers, all essential hospital staff and their spouses.
Johnny Amari said his firm was inspired to help others by watching those on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
“To all local healthcare workers, we know that you’re putting your health at risk for us and it got us thinking, ‘what can a bunch of lawyers do for you?” said Amari.
Mr. Amari recognized that this gesture doesn’t compare to the sacrifices being made by healthcare workers, but he was hopeful that by taking at least one thing off the minds of healthcare workers it would free them up to focus more on what’s important.
Johnny Gray said his inspiration came from some of those closest to him.
“Healthcare workers and nurses, in particular, are close to my heart,” said Gray. “My mother is a nurse who has been furloughed during this pandemic, my sister-in-law is a nurse actively working in a hospital facing challenges related to this pandemic, and my wife is a nurse who runs a non-profit that is currently serving those affected by this pandemic. I can’t think of a better group of people for us to try and give back.”
The firm has streamlined the process for the healthcare workers in an effort to minimize time and effort required of them. For more information, visit the firm’s website and social media platforms, www.amariandgray.com, Instagram @AmariandGray, or www.facebook.com/amariandgray.
