PINSON – A woman was grazed by a bullet as she departed her Pinson home late Tuesday night.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said that at around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of St. John Lane in Pinson on a report of shots fired.
Upon arriving to the scene, deputies discovered that a 22-year-old female passenger of a vehicle had been grazed in the head by a bullet. Officials state that the victim said that she and three other individuals were driving away from her house when they heard multiple shots fired. The victim then realized that she had been grazed in the head.
Authorities transported her to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The case remains under investigation.
