BLOUNT COUNTY — According the the Alabama State Troopers Office, a Blount County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
“A single-vehicle crash at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, April 19, has claimed the life of a Hayden man,” Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel said.
Landry Daniel Leopard, 22, was killed when the 2001 Mercedes E320 he was driving left the roadway on Alabama Highway 160 and overturned.
“Leopard, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene,” Daniel said.
The crash occurred five miles west of Cleveland .
No further information is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
