HOOVER — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) search for a missing senior continues on Wednesday following the announcement on Tuesday that the 71-year-old’s vehicle was spotted in southwestern Alabama.
Frank Morgan Stevenson was last seen on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, around 1:30 p.m. Stevenson was in the area of Golf Drive, in Hoover. He was wearing khaki pants and a gray, long-sleeved pullover. He did not have his cell phone in his possession and only had a small amount of cash. The Hoover Police Department believes that he was carrying a wallet with identification, but had no credit cards. His daily medications were also left at his residence.
The search for Stevenson continues with multiple agencies throughout the state assisting. The ALEA air unit has helped, along with drone operators from Hoover. Tracking dogs from Bibb Prison and other agencies have also assisted. So far there have been no signs of Stevenson, but the search will continue. The search area terrain is difficult, wet and encompasses thousands of acres.
The HPD stresses that there are no signs, at the moment, of foul play.
Stevenson may be suffering from a condition that may impair his judgment, according to ALEA.
