IRONDALE — Two Jefferson County students scored a perfect 36 on their ACT test, according to the school system.
Jonathan Sanders and Benjamin Moose, both students at the Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School (JCIB), received the perfect score in 2018. They also worked with other students to prepare for the test.
“Jonathan and Ben are clearly talented scholars, but in addition to that, they both have a desire to serve their communities and offer tutoring to classmates,” said principal Lori Lightsey. “We’re so fortunate to have students of this caliber at JCIB,” said principal Lori Lightsey.
Both Sanders and Moose are 11th graders at JCIB. Sanders has a 4.56 GPA and Moose has a 4.61 GPA, according to the Jefferson County School system.
