BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident that occurred on Friday morning on Highway 79 in Pinson.
Deputies responded to the scene of a traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 79 and Old Bradford Road in Pinson at around 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2020. At the scene, deputies happened upon an accident between an automobile and a large truck pulling a trailer.
An adult passenger and a toddler were transported to local hospitals for emergency medical treatment. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
The conditions of the toddler and adult passenger have not been released.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the accident.
