TRUSSVILLE — Schools in Jefferson and St. Clair Counties and in area municipalities have finalized plans for graduation. Below is a list of what parents and students need to know. Click on the school name for more information on commencement ceremonies and guidelines.
CENTER POINT HIGH SCHOOL will begin commencement at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, at the football stadium.
CLAY-CHALKVILLE HIGH SCHOOL graduation will be held from Tuesday, May 26, at Cougar Stadium. There will be two separate ceremonies and two entrances to the stadium, in order for students and families to practice social distancing. One ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and the other will begin at 1 p.m.
MOODY HIGH SCHOOL will hold graduation during the week of May 18. Each graduate will be given a time slot. Students may only have six guests for their individual graduation ceremony. Principals are contacting students to schedule.
PINSON VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL will host a graduation processional beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, on the field at the school. The ceremony will be limited to four guests per graduate.
SPRINGVILLE HIGH SCHOOL will hold graduation during the week of May 18. Each graduate will be given a time slot. Students may only have six guests for their individual graduation ceremony. Principals are contacting students to schedule.
HEWITT-TRUSSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL will hold a graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 16, at HT Football Stadium. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. and families will be allowed four tickets each. More information on tickets will be announced at a later date. The Trussville Tribune will live-stream the ceremony on Facebook and online at www.TrussvilleTribune.com.
