TRUSSVILLE — Trussville’s Planning and Zoning Board will meet on Monday, June 8, 2020, concerning a rezoning request for a piece of property off Highway 11.
The property is located at 510 Main Street. It is currently zoned R-2 (Residential) and the requested zoning is Q-C-2 (Qualified C-2 restricted from c-store, auto repair, car wash, auto, boat and motorcycle sales, and mini-warehouses and massage parlors, plus any uses restricted by deed.)
The city sent notices to property owners within 500 feet of the property.
“This request does not affect the zoning on any property other than the property listed above,” the letter stated in bold print.
The rezoning request was made by AL Trussville Highway 11, LLC as agent for Charles Hamilton, as trustee of the Francis D. Hamilton Revocable Trust.
The meeting on June 8, will be at 6 p.m. at Trussville City Hall and only 16 people will be allowed inside the auditorium at once. Masks or face coverings are recommended.
