FAIRFIELD — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot and killed while driving in Fairfield, on Friday, May 22, 2020.
According to a press release, the incident happened on Lloyd Noland Parkway in Fairfield, around 10 p.m.
A passenger in the victim’s white Dodge Avenger said the passenger of a Tahoe or Yukon SUV began shooting at them.
Deputies were called to the 4100 block of Lloyd Noland Parkway, around 10:15 p.m., where they found the Avenger. The 29-year-old driver was inside the vehicle dead. They learned the passenger, a 26-year-old female was also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined.
The SUV involved in the shooting was white and had a sunroof. If you have information, call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
