BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department has requested the public’s assistance with identifying an individual who robbed an east Birmingham pharmacy on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the CVS located at 220 Gadsden Highway at around 6:30 p.m.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, the man entered the store after loitering outside for nearly 30 minutes, approached the pharmacy counter and demanded Xanax. The BPD added that the man brandished a gun before departing with a large quantity of prescription drugs.
No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect appeared to have a tattoo on his neck with cursive writing.
