JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Thursday, June 18, after a small child was found wandering in the Grayson Valley area of east Jefferson County.
Deputies stayed with the boy until they found his home. The sheriff’s office tweeted about the incident saying a little puppy also stayed with the child during the ordeal.
“We are grateful for this little guy’s safety and the village it takes to raise our next generation,” the tweet stated.
Sgt. Joni Money said the child was lost and she is not aware of any pending charges.
