TRUSSVILLE — The list of universities offering Hewitt-Trussville High School rising junior Justice Finkley grew this Monday following the news that the University of Alabama offered the class of 2022 defensive end.
The 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive force already has offers from the likes of Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Penn State, Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and now Alabama. Finkley’s first scholarship offer came from LSU after just the fifth game into his high school football career.
According to Touchdown Alabama Magazine, the Crimson Tide’s defensive line coach, Freddie Roach, and the Tide’s defensive back coach, Karl Scott, told Finkley of the offer.
“I found out about the offer during a great conversation with coach Scott and coach Roach,” Finkley said. “When they gave me the offer, I was both honored and excited. Alabama is a championship team with a phenomenal legacy.”
