From The Tribune staff report
TRUSSVILLE — The Taco Bell located on Valley Road at North Chalkville Road in Trussville officially finished its transformation from a relic of the 1990s to a modern-day fast food restaurant decked out with sleek finishes and sharp lines following its departure from its original location just up the road.
The fast food joint reopened on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, after relocating from its original site at 1106 North Chalkville Road. The original, highly outdated storefront was listed for sale in February for $825,000. The property was built in 1989.
The new Taco Bell sits across from Waffle House and is just feet from the entrance and exit ramps of Interstate 59.
