PELL CITY — There’s a new nose in town and her name is Madonna. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office welcomed its newest edition in June.
Madonna is trained to alert deputies to narcotics. The Labrador Retriever will work alongside Deputy Evan Kavli, according to the sheriff’s office.
The three-year-old was adopted by the sheriff’s office with assistance from First Foundation, a non-profit that provides assistance to Special Operations Forces and Police Special Operations.
