BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is searching for a shooter after a homicide that happened on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
Rashion McGinnis Cook, 41, of Birmingham, was shot and killed in the 1600 block of Maple Avenue SW.
Police said around 5:45 p.m., a person pulled up in a vehicle and fired shots, striking the victim. Cook was pronounced dead on the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
