WALKER COUNTY — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating a crash that happened on Interstate 22 in Walker County.
ALEA said the crash happened around 6:55 a.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2020, near Carbon Hill.
A 2007 Jeep Commander, carrying six passengers, struck a bridge rail, left the roadway and overturned, according to crash scene investigators.
Several of the passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle, according to ALEA. One of them, Keaveuna Youngblood, 24, of Memphis, Tenn., was pronounced dead on the scene.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
