CENTER POINT — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying the man who tried to rob a CVS in Center Point.
Deputies were called to the CVS at 2000 Center Point Parkway, around 12:30 p.m., on Monday, July 13, 2020, after the would-be robber left the store.
Detectives said the man in surveillance images approached a pharmacy tech and demanded drugs.
“He gave the victim a note demanding that she give him drugs or he would shoot her,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release. “Another employee realized what was occurring and approached the suspect, who then immediately fled the store.”
The sheriff’s office said the man stood about 6 feet tall and was wearing a Bass Pro Shops hoodie and blue jeans. He was also wearing a black Oakley ball cap and dark sunglasses. He left in a small, four-door sedan.
If you have any information on the identity of this suspect, you are asked to call Detective Ali Daniels at (205) 731-2815.
